Senior Recruiter

VRChat is a pioneering platform that provides an endless collection of social VR experiences, empowering a robust community to bring their imaginations to life. We are currently seeking a Senior Recruiter to lead hiring efforts for strategic business and technical roles, helping us scale the critical functions that power our metaverse.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership and hiring managers to influence headcount planning and advise on effective hiring strategies.
• Lead the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing and screening through to offer negotiation and closing.
• Build and manage high-quality candidate pools for hard-to-fill, key roles across technical, product, and creative functions.
• Provide actionable insights on talent trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitive dynamics to inform hiring decisions.
• Drive continuous improvement in recruiting processes by using data to optimize performance and ensure a high-quality candidate experience.

Requirements

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a mix of technical, product, or creative roles.
• Demonstrated ability to partner closely with hiring managers to influence role scoping and candidate calibration.
• Proven success in closing candidates in competitive markets and managing complex offer negotiations.
• Ability to operate independently in a lean environment, managing multiple searches with minimal oversight.
• Strong sourcing capabilities and experience using data to inform hiring strategy and improve outcomes.
