Senior React Frontend Developer

VISTULO is looking for an experienced Senior React Frontend Developer to join a core product team supporting a major North American bank's capital markets division. You will be responsible for building and maintaining high-performance systems for bonds and commodities trading in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript within the OpenFin framework.
• Ensure high performance and reliability by writing well-structured, maintainable code.
• Collaborate with backend systems via REST APIs and data streaming, with the ability to read Java code.
• Participate in architectural discussions to improve system scalability and overall product quality.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and a deep understanding of system internals.
• Ability to clearly explain complex systems and algorithms.
• Willingness to work in sync with US Eastern business hours during the initial two-month onboarding period.
• Open-mindedness, curiosity, and a strong desire to learn new business domains.
