Senior QA Engineer

At NOVACARD, we are redefining personal finance by providing the first interest-free credit card in Mexico, fully managed through a mobile app. We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of our mobile and backend products in a fast-paced, fully remote fintech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze new functionality, create test designs, and maintain comprehensive test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end testing across mobile and backend systems.
• Validate user scenarios across APIs, message queues, and databases to ensure data integrity.
• Investigate logs and collaborate with developers to diagnose complex issues using trace IDs.
• Continuously improve QA processes, testing coverage, and overall product quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience testing complex software systems, including 2+ years with external integrations.
• Strong expertise in functional testing for Android and iOS mobile applications.
• Confident SQL skills for writing medium-complexity queries and validating data.
• Solid understanding of REST/SOAP API testing and asynchronous communication via message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Fluent English and Russian at B1+ level for technical documentation and team collaboration.
