Senior QA Automation Engineer

Link Group is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to modernize our existing test automation landscape. This hands-on role focuses on optimizing test execution, enhancing GUI regression coverage, and migrating pipelines to GitHub Actions to support faster, more reliable software delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Refactor and improve the existing load testing suite to significantly reduce test execution time.
• Migrate test suites from Jenkins to GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.
• Enhance GUI regression test coverage to reduce change failure rates and improve release confidence.
• Analyze test failures and identify coverage gaps to propose effective automation strategy improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to boost testability, system stability, and feedback loops.
• Utilize AI-powered tools to troubleshoot issues, detect gaps, and accelerate daily engineering tasks.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience with Selenium and proficiency in Java or Groovy.
• Proven background in automation quality engineering or backend-oriented test automation.
• Practical knowledge of frameworks such as Serenity BDD, Cucumber, JUnit, and Allure.
• Experience with GitHub Actions or a strong willingness to adopt it.
• Basic understanding of Kubernetes and the ability to troubleshoot close to application code.
• A proactive approach to integrating AI tools into the testing lifecycle for improved efficiency.
