Senior Python FullStack Engineer

DCV Technologies is seeking a Senior Python Fullstack Developer to join an international engineering team focused on building robust web applications for the Agriculture and Life Sciences sector. This role is primarily backend-oriented, requiring deep expertise in Python and FastAPI, while also involving contributions to frontend development using React.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Python and FastAPI.
• Build and maintain REST APIs, backend services, and database integration modules using SQLAlchemy or similar ORM technologies.
• Develop and maintain frontend components using React to ensure a seamless user experience.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating in CI/CD processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot technical issues and optimize overall application performance.

Requirements

• Strong commercial experience with Python and hands-on expertise in FastAPI.
• Solid understanding of REST API design, relational and NoSQL databases, and ORM technologies.
• Proven commercial experience with React, including knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Excellent grasp of software engineering fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and automated testing.
• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
