Senior Python Developer

DO OK is looking for a Senior Python Developer to join our startup-like environment. We are seeking an experienced, open-minded professional ready to take full ownership of product and technical direction while solving complex engineering problems for demanding clients.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a technical partner for clients by analyzing business needs and proposing scalable solutions.
• Take full ownership of complex features from concept and architecture through implementation and deployment.
• Design system architecture, APIs, and data models for high-load, data-intensive systems.
• Proactively identify risks, bottlenecks, and technical debt to drive continuous improvements.
• Support and mentor other developers to raise engineering standards across teams.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience with strong proficiency in Python 3.11+.
• Production experience with modern frameworks like FastAPI and Async SQLAlchemy 2.0.
• Advanced knowledge of software engineering principles including OOP, SOLID, and TDD.
• Extensive experience with unit testing, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and API design.
• Strong communication skills with a proactive, ownership-oriented mindset.
