Senior Python Developer (GCP)

co.brick Talents is seeking a Senior Python Backend Engineer to join a long-term project focused on data engineering and workflow orchestration. This role is ideal for an expert who combines backend development skills with deep hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform and Apache Airflow.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain complex Apache Airflow DAGs and manage Google Cloud Composer environments.
• Develop robust Python backend services and REST APIs using Pydantic for schema modeling and validation.
• Build seamless integrations between data pipelines and backend services while ensuring reliability through authentication and idempotency.
• Work extensively with BigQuery, Google Cloud Storage, Pub/Sub, and Cloud Functions to support data platform operations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement logging, monitoring, and automated testing for production systems.

Requirements

• Extensive senior-level experience in Python backend development and REST API design.
• Proven hands-on expertise with Apache Airflow, including DAGs, operators, and hooks.
• Strong practical knowledge of Google Cloud Platform, specifically Google Cloud Composer.
• Proficiency in SQL, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker containerization.
• Solid understanding of authentication protocols like OAuth2 and JWT.
