Senior Python Backend Engineer

Reef Technologies is a fully remote, senior-only software house specializing in complex Python-based systems. We are looking for experienced backend engineers to join our agile team and contribute to cutting-edge projects involving decentralized algorithms and high-performance infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, efficient backend solutions using Python.
• Take full ownership of code from initial development through to deployment.
• Collaborate asynchronously with a multicultural, senior-level team.
• Participate in decision-making processes using Sociocracy 3.0.
• Solve complex technical challenges within a trustless supercluster environment.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of professional programming experience.
• Minimum 1 year of significant experience working with Python.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to choose Pythonic solutions.
• Passion for high-quality code and a proactive approach to technical challenges.
• Ability to work independently and take full responsibility for project outcomes.
