Senior Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead cross-functional technology projects delivered for international clients.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of project management, software engineering, Data & AI, and client collaboration.

You will work closely with technical teams, Product Owners, and Clients.

The role requires strong organisational and stakeholder management skills, as well as a solid understanding of the full software development lifecycle.

You do not need to be a software developer, but you should feel comfortable discussing technical projects, understanding dependencies, and supporting teams in delivering complex IT solutions.

Your responsibilities

• Managing cross-functional and cross-team IT projects.

• Coordinating distributed teams working across different client engagements.

• Organizing stand-ups, planning sessions, project syncs, and stakeholder meetings.

• Managing project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and priorities.

• Supporting collaboration between engineering teams, Product Owners, clients, and business stakeholders.

• Ensuring effective project delivery throughout the full SDLC.

• Helping clients and teams resolve delivery, organizational, and process-related challenges.

• Monitoring project progress and providing clear status updates.

• Supporting Agile and Scrum-based ways of working.

• Managing project activities using Jira and/or Azure DevOps.

• Driving structure, transparency, and accountability across multiple workstreams.

What we are looking for

• At least 5 years of experience in IT project management.

• Experience managing software development, cloud, Data, or AI-related projects.

• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• Experience coordinating multiple teams and stakeholders.

• Ability to manage high-level, cross-functional projects while staying close to delivery.

• Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience working directly with clients.

• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile delivery models.

• Practical experience with Jira and/or Azure DevOps.

• Ability to work effectively in an international and distributed environment.

• Very good English communication skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in Data & AI, machine learning, cloud, or software engineering projects.

• Knowledge of the Microsoft Azure environment.

• Project management or service management certifications, such as:

  • PMP.

  • ITIL.

  • Agile or Scrum certifications.
