Senior Professional Services Project Manager (EMEA)

GitLab is the intelligent orchestration platform for DevSecOps, enabling organizations to increase developer productivity and accelerate digital transformation. We are looking for a Senior Professional Services Project Manager to join our EMEA team and lead complex projects from initiation through delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage large-scale commercial projects, including executive stakeholder communications and escalations.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as Engineering, Product, and Support to resolve complex customer challenges.
• Develop and manage delivery schedules, project scope, resources, risks, and status reporting.
• Drive continuous improvements to Professional Services project management tools, processes, and templates.
• Set and achieve forecast goals by aligning cross-functional teams and delivery partners.

Requirements

• Extensive experience managing complex IT or software consulting projects for external customers.
• Strong ability to manage project scope, schedules, and risks while providing concise executive-level reporting.
• Proven track record of building effective relationships with stakeholders and managing escalations.
• Deep knowledge of project management methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and the software development lifecycle.
• Ability to motivate advisory teams and mediate conflicts to ensure successful project outcomes.
