Senior Product Manager (Card Issuing)

Payforge is seeking a Senior Product Manager to lead a large-scale migration of existing card programs between issuing platforms. This is a hands-on role for a professional who understands the complexities of card issuing, including program structures, BIN sponsorship, and the operational realities of migrating live cardholders without service disruption.

Key responsibilities

• Own the product workstream for migrating card programs from an incumbent platform to a target platform.
• Document current-state configurations and define equivalent target-state setups, including BIN structures and fee configurations.
• Lead gap analysis between platforms and determine the strategy for replication, simplification, or redesign.
• Define the migration approach, including phasing, sequencing, and cardholder impact strategies.
• Partner with engineering and delivery teams to ensure technical feasibility and successful cutover planning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on card issuing.
• Direct experience leading the product workstream for a card platform or processor migration.
• Deep knowledge of authorization, clearing, settlement flows, and scheme rules (Visa, Mastercard).
• Familiarity with network tokenization, digital wallets, and regulatory requirements like PCI DSS and SCA/PSD2.
• Strong technical fluency to engage effectively with architects and engineers on APIs and data models.
