Senior Product Engineer

Pinpoint is a high-growth HR tech company building software that helps recruitment teams attract, hire, and onboard talent. We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join our Marketplace squad, where you will own usage-based features and the billing systems that power them.

Key responsibilities

• Build full-stack features using Ruby on Rails and React with TypeScript within a focused, cross-functional squad.
• Own your product area end-to-end, from understanding customer workflows and edge cases to delivery and ongoing quality.
• Integrate third-party services into the platform and manage vendor relationships, including hands-on debugging.
• Contribute to architectural discussions, technical trade-offs, and product decision-making.
• Review code, mentor team members, and help raise the technical bar within the squad.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in production web applications.
• 3+ years of production experience with Ruby on Rails and React.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and experience in B2B SaaS environments.
• Strong written communication skills and the ability to explain technical decisions to non-engineers.
• Comfortable operating in ambiguity and taking full ownership of your work.
