Senior Product Engineer – Agentic AI (Python/React)

DNA Technology is a fast-growing AI product company building software that transforms how US accounting firms prepare and review taxes. We are looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join our team and take end-to-end ownership of building AI-powered solutions for professional users in a complex, real-world domain.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain fullstack features across AI-powered tax preparation, planning, and review products.
• Design and implement React interfaces, TypeScript APIs, and Python backend services.
• Take ownership of features from initial discovery through implementation, release, and iteration.
• Collaborate with engineering, AI, and domain experts to shape solutions based on real usage data.
• Make technical and product decisions to ensure high-quality, performant, and impactful software.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience building fullstack applications using React and Python.
• Strong product mindset with a focus on user outcomes rather than just implementation.
• Proven ability to take ownership of projects from unclear needs to production-ready solutions.
• Comfort working with incomplete information and balancing engineering quality with startup speed.
• Availability to work in the afternoon hours and participate in on-call rotations to support US-based clients.
