Senior Product Designer/Industrial Designer

ScaleJet is a fast-growing eCommerce company specializing in the Patient Care and Home Medical Equipment space. We are seeking a Senior Product Designer/Industrial Designer to lead the end-to-end development of next-generation products that enhance the lives of patients and caregivers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the full design process from initial concept to production-ready solutions, applying rigorous DFM and DFA analysis.
• Translate caregiver feedback, VOC data, and customer reviews into innovative, user-centered product concepts.
• Create advanced CAD models and technical documentation, utilizing FEA and structural simulations to validate performance.
• Collaborate with engineers, sourcing partners, and marketing to balance creativity with cost targets and supplier capabilities.
• Maintain high standards of manufacturability and functional performance to ensure exceptional product ratings.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Industrial or Product Design, with at least 2 years focused on mass-produced consumer or medical equipment.
• Proven track record of taking products from concept through to mass production.
• Proficiency in mechanical CAD software such as SolidWorks, Inventor, or Onshape.
• Strong experience in mechanical design, prototyping, simulation, and testing.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with international manufacturing partners, particularly in Asia.
• Deep understanding of ergonomics, usability, and cost-modeling for margin-focused design.
