Senior Product Designer

Wayfinder, a division of Lemnis, is dedicated to helping students develop lives of meaning and purpose through innovative, future-readiness curriculum. We are seeking a Senior Product Designer to join our fully remote team and help shape the future of our web platform, which serves students, educators, and school communities globally.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end design process for specific features, from initial discovery and research to final engineering handoff.
• Lead user research, including interviews and usability studies, to translate educator and student needs into intuitive, accessible experiences.
• Collaborate closely with engineers and designers to create build-ready specifications and maintain our component library.
• Design AI-enabled features that enhance learning outcomes and streamline workflows for educators.
• Communicate design decisions clearly through prototypes, presentations, and written documentation.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in UI and UX design with a strong portfolio demonstrating your process.
• Proven track record of leading design research and turning findings into actionable design decisions.
• Proficiency with Figma and familiarity with accessibility standards like WCAG.
• Experience or strong interest in designing AI-enabled workflows and features.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
