Senior Product Design Engineer

Jobgether is seeking a Senior Product Design Engineer to join a remote-first team, focusing on the intersection of product design, frontend engineering, and design systems. You will own core product experiences from concept to production, building robust, accessible, and reusable components for a globally used scheduling platform.

Key responsibilities

• Own core product surfaces, including booking flows and scheduling primitives, from initial concept through to production.
• Translate product hypotheses into high-quality designs, prototypes, and production-ready frontend components.
• Build and maintain custom UI components and primitives, ensuring consistency across tokens, states, and interaction patterns.
• Continuously improve the shared component library by refining patterns and contributing reusable solutions.
• Maintain high accessibility standards, including keyboard navigation, focus management, and semantic HTML.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a product designer with strong frontend engineering skills in HTML, CSS, TypeScript, and React.
• Ability to independently turn concepts into polished, working implementations without relying on external engineering support.
• Deep expertise in headless primitive composition using tools like Radix or Base UI.
• Strong understanding of motion design principles and web standards.
• Daily experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or v0.
• Excellent written communication skills for effective asynchronous collaboration.
