The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist to manage procurement operations, strategic sourcing, and vendor management for our global organization. This role serves as a key partner to internal departments, overseeing the full source-to-pay lifecycle while driving process improvements and value optimization.
Key responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procure-to-pay lifecycle, including contract review, vendor onboarding, and purchase order management.
- Lead competitive sourcing activities, such as RFPs and RFQs, and evaluate vendor proposals.
- Draft and negotiate contractual terms, pricing, and scopes of work in collaboration with Legal and business stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to improve vendor pricing and commercial terms through spend analysis and negotiation.
- Monitor procurement workflows to resolve bottlenecks and ensure high service levels across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, and contract drafting.
- Proven experience managing procurement activities across the source-to-pay lifecycle.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement platforms.
