Senior Power BI Engineer (Microsoft Fabric / Databricks)

Entrada AI is a specialized consulting partner and a strategic portfolio company of Databricks Ventures, operating at the forefront of data engineering and analytics. We are looking for a Senior Power BI Engineer to join our team of industry veterans and Databricks MVPs to solve complex architectural challenges for Fortune 500 clients using cutting-edge technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of greenfield semantic architectures, owning the transition from proof-of-concept to production environments.
• Architect and configure Microsoft Fabric Direct Lake models to ensure high-performance concurrent access for large-scale datasets.
• Reverse-engineer complex legacy reporting systems and translate intricate business logic into streamlined, modern Power BI solutions.
• Optimize the end-to-end data chain, including Delta Lake and Fabric connections, utilizing advanced performance tuning techniques.
• Manage security and governance, including complex Row-Level Security implementations and CI/CD deployment pipelines.

Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Data Analytics with at least 3 years of intensive Power BI development.
• Hands-on production experience with Microsoft Fabric and Direct Lake is mandatory.
• Deep expertise in Star Schema design for large-scale Medallion architectures.
• Advanced proficiency in DAX, including complex measures, iterators, and performance optimization.
• Strong SQL skills and the ability to optimize Delta tables for downstream BI consumption.
• Fluent English (C1+) for high-level stakeholder management and cross-cultural collaboration.
