Senior Platform Optimization & Observability Engineer

Spyrosoft is looking for a Senior Platform Optimization & Observability Engineer to take ownership of platform health, performance, and observability in a complex enterprise environment. You will play a key role in improving security posture, disaster recovery effectiveness, and migrating critical monitoring assets to a new observability stack.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize virtualization and storage platforms to ensure peak performance.
• Expand observability capabilities by implementing advanced APM and security monitoring.
• Migrate existing monitoring and security assets from legacy Azure tooling.
• Optimize logging, alerting, and data retention strategies across the infrastructure.
• Review and improve disaster recovery and firewall configurations in collaboration with network and security teams.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in optimizing virtualization platforms and storage performance.
• Deep operational expertise with the ELK stack for observability and security.
• Proven experience in platform security hardening and compliance.
• Strong understanding of disaster recovery optimization and recovery metrics.
• Experience migrating complex dashboards, queries, and reports from Log Analytics.
