Senior Platform Engineer (Remote EU)

REW Technology is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to provide dedicated production support and platform engineering for our Product Catalog application. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and reliability of our AWS-based infrastructure during US business hours, working closely with our global teams to resolve complex technical challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Provide production support for the Product Catalog, focusing on connection, latency, and performance issues.
• Triage and troubleshoot across AWS, Apigee, Rancher/Kubernetes, C# services, and database layers.
• Investigate and resolve API-related problems, including timeouts, routing failures, and logging issues.
• Collaborate with offshore teams to stabilize and optimize the current cloud environment.
• Drive root cause analysis to implement sustainable fixes and support the optimization of the C# codebase.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience troubleshooting production workloads within AWS cloud environments.
• Proven experience with Apigee or similar API gateways in a production setting.
• Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes and Rancher for cluster and workload management.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET, particularly within distributed, service-oriented architectures.
• Strong analytical skills with a track record of owning complex technical issues end-to-end.
