Senior Platform Engineer

emagine Polska is looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join their team in a fully remote capacity. This role focuses on designing, building, and operating secure and scalable cloud platforms on Google Cloud Platform, with a strong emphasis on automation, operational excellence, and enhancing the overall developer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable platform services and cloud infrastructure within the GCP ecosystem.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using Terraform to ensure consistent environment provisioning.
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions to streamline deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain platform services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Manage and optimize PostgreSQL environments while ensuring high availability, observability, and security across all platform services.

Requirements

• Proven professional experience as a Platform Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or Site Reliability Engineer.
• Strong proficiency in Python development and hands-on experience with FastAPI or similar backend frameworks.
• Extensive experience working with Google Cloud Platform and Infrastructure as Code practices using Terraform.
• Solid knowledge of PostgreSQL administration, performance tuning, and platform integrations.
• Strong understanding of DevOps and SRE principles, combined with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
