Senior Platform Engineer

saas.group is a global portfolio powerhouse dedicated to acquiring and scaling B2B SaaS ventures. We are looking for a Senior Platform Engineer to join our Central Platform Engineering Team, where you will help modernize infrastructure and establish best practices across our diverse range of brands.

Key responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure projects including migrations, performance improvements, and cloud cost optimizations for assigned brands.
• Establish and upgrade CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and observability standards to ensure high reliability.
• Advise brand CTOs and engineering leads on architectural trade-offs and technical strategies.
• Collaborate with product teams to troubleshoot complex issues across application and infrastructure boundaries.
• Integrate AI-driven tools into daily workflows to accelerate infrastructure tasks and coach brand teams on these practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles with a focus on autonomy and ownership.
• Deep expertise in a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and practical experience with Terraform.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience modernizing pipelines.
• Proficiency with monitoring and observability tools such as Datadog, New Relic, or Prometheus.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding tools for infrastructure work and a background in software development.
