Senior Platform Engineer (Azure & Databricks)

SNI is a trusted IT outsourcing partner delivering high-impact projects for prestigious global firms. We are currently seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join our team and focus on managing and scaling our Azure and Databricks infrastructure in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provision and manage Azure data platform infrastructure and Databricks workspaces using modular Terraform.
• Administer Databricks compute, cluster policies, SQL warehouses, and Unity Catalog resources.
• Implement Azure RBAC, Microsoft Entra ID groups, and robust Databricks access controls.
• Configure secure Azure networking, including VNet integration, private endpoints, and firewall controls.
• Build multi-stage Azure DevOps YAML pipelines with automated validation and security scanning.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Azure cloud or platform engineering.
• 2-3+ years of production experience with Terraform, including reusable modules and drift management.
• 2-3+ years of hands-on Azure Databricks administration, specifically with Unity Catalog and workspace policies.
• Advanced proficiency in Azure core services such as ADLS Gen2, Key Vault, and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Strong Bash scripting skills for operational automation and CLI integrations.
• Deep experience with Azure DevOps multi-stage YAML pipelines and Git workflows.
