Senior Platform Developer with AWS, Cloud Platform

DataArt is seeking a Senior Platform Developer to join a cross-functional team supporting a major financial services client. You will play a key role in transforming infrastructure into a robust, self-service platform, focusing on reliability, security, and developer experience for business-critical services.

Key responsibilities

• Design and evolve reliable cloud platform capabilities to support engineering teams.
• Improve AWS, Kubernetes, Terraform, CI/CD, and operational patterns.
• Partner with application engineers to understand needs and implement maintainable solutions.
• Strengthen observability, resilience, security, and incident readiness.
• Participate in incident response, post-incident reviews, and the on-call rota.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on AWS platform engineering experience in production environments.
• Practical experience with Kubernetes/EKS, Docker, Terraform, and Helm.
• Extensive CI/CD knowledge, particularly with GitHub Actions and reusable pipeline design.
• Experience with logging, monitoring, networking, scripting, and secrets management.
• Proven ability to design secure, reliable, and maintainable platform solutions.
• Experience supporting business-critical services and working in an on-call capacity.
