Senior Platform Architect

Wizdaa is seeking a Senior Platform Architect to define the standards for building, shipping, and operating reliable cloud platforms at scale. You will sit at the intersection of platform engineering and SRE, taking ownership of the path from infrastructure design to production services while applying rigorous DevOps practices to complex, evolving systems.

Key responsibilities

• Build and operate scalable backend and AI infrastructure, supporting real-time and batch workloads with a focus on performance and multi-tenant architecture.
• Design and maintain deployment workflows, including versioning, staged rollouts, automated releases, and safe rollback strategies.
• Manage LLM and agentic systems in production, integrating model providers, gateways, and tools while ensuring reliability and guardrails.
• Extend infrastructure-as-code using Terraform and maintain GitOps-based deployment workflows with tools like ArgoCD.
• Improve platform observability through metrics, logging, tracing, SLOs, and incident response practices.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, SRE, or infrastructure, with a proven track record of operating production systems at scale.
• Deep expertise in Terraform and GitOps methodologies, with experience managing complex states and declarative infrastructure.
• Strong Kubernetes knowledge, including cluster operation, failure mode management, and control plane understanding.
• Extensive cloud infrastructure background (AWS, Azure, or GCP) covering networking, IAM, and multi-project design.
• Automation-first mindset with experience using agentic coding tools to accelerate engineering workflows.
• Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical trade-offs and operational decisions to diverse stakeholders.
