Senior PHP Engineer

airSlate is a global SaaS technology company specializing in no-code workflow automation, electronic signatures, and document management solutions. We are currently seeking a Senior PHP Engineer to join the US Legal Forms team, which manages an extensive library of over 85,000 legal templates to support attorneys, businesses, and individuals worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain robust backend features and APIs using PHP and Laravel.
• Integrate an AI-forward approach to development to enhance team productivity and shipping speed.
• Analyze A/B test results and take ownership of product outcomes and technical decision-making.
• Write clean, tested, and maintainable code while upholding high quality standards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally, including occasional contributions to React-based frontend tasks.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional backend development experience with strong PHP and Laravel proficiency.
• Hands-on experience utilizing AI tools to improve real-world development workflows.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, SQL/MySQL, message queues, and cloud infrastructure (AWS).
• Basic knowledge of Python and React to support cross-functional project requirements.
• Proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership and the ability to work independently.
• Fluency in English (B1+) and proficiency in Ukrainian or Russian.
