Senior PHP Developer (SaaS)

Open Loyalty is a fast-growing SaaS company providing a robust toolkit for loyalty and gamification mechanics. We help global brands across retail, insurance, and CPG sectors engage and retain their customers through scalable, innovative loyalty programs.

Key responsibilities

• Developing new functionalities and maintaining the Open Loyalty product core.
• Ensuring high performance and scalability of the REST API through stress testing and optimization.
• Designing and executing comprehensive unit, integration, and contract tests to maintain high code quality.
• Managing system architecture, updating dependencies, and maintaining technical documentation.
• Collaborating with frontend teams to ensure seamless API integration and efficient delivery.

Requirements

• Proven commercial experience in building complex PHP applications.
• Strong proficiency in Symfony 7 and modern PHP development standards.
• Deep understanding of DDD, OOP, SOLID principles, and PSR standards.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, including advanced SQL query optimization.
• Ability to leverage AI tools for code review, snippet generation, and analysis.
• Proficiency in Docker, Git, and a strong mindset toward automated testing and performance optimization.
