Senior PHP Developer

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Take ownership of an existing PHP-based system, gaining a deep understanding of its architecture and complex domain logic
• Analyze and understand business processes based on existing source code, including a sophisticated invoice generation system
• Maintain and perform tactical development and enhancements of the current system
• Ensure system stability, correctness, and continuity of business-critical functionality
• Collaborate with the team to efficiently acquire domain knowledge and support ongoing development needs
• Optionally contribute to system decomposition or modernization efforts if TypeScript skills are available (NestJS and/or React)

REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive experience as a Senior PHP Developer
• Proven ability to quickly understand large, complex legacy systems
• Strong skills in analyzing existing codebases and mapping code to business processes
• Experience maintaining and evolving systems with complex business logic
• High level of independence and responsibility in day-to-day development work
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Very good command of English, both spoken and written

Nice to have:

• Experience with TypeScript, including NestJS and/or React
• Interest or experience in system decomposition or gradual modernization
