Senior Operations Engineer

Cotiviti is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer to join our team and provide expert support for enterprise customers using Edifecs Enrollment Management products. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end operational management of application instances, ensuring high performance and reliability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of our technology ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end operations for hosted application instances, including deployments, configuration changes, and day-to-day submission management.
• Provide L2 and L3 technical support to enterprise clients, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term solutions for complex issues.
• Analyze application and database performance to identify bottlenecks and collaborate with development teams on permanent fixes.
• Develop and maintain custom monitoring, alerting systems, and automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles to foster a collaborative and learning-oriented team culture.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven experience with Java, JMS, SQL Server/Oracle, and application servers like Apache Tomcat or IBM WAS.
• Strong proficiency in both Windows and Unix-based operating systems.
• Experience in modifying and supporting code or scripting development.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
