Andersen is seeking a Senior Ontology Engineer to join a project focused on building a large-scale Knowledge Graph and delivering AI-powered data and identity solutions. You will play a key role in modeling complex relationships between audiences, content, and behavioral data to drive advanced analytics.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and version core RDF/RDFS/OWL ontologies and SHACL validation frameworks.
- Define ontology standards, aggregation logic, and governance practices aligned with W3C standards.
- Lead ontology design reviews and translate business requirements into scalable semantic data models.
- Build production-grade knowledge graph pipelines using Python and SPARQL, including entity resolution and data enrichment.
- Collaborate with Data Engineering and Data Science teams to integrate graph solutions into production environments.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in ontology engineering, semantic data modeling, or knowledge graph development.
- Deep expertise in W3C semantic web standards: RDF, RDFS, OWL, SPARQL 1.1, and SHACL.
- Hands-on experience building and validating graph schemas in production triplestores like Amazon Neptune, Stardog, or GraphDB.
- Strong proficiency in Python for building data pipelines and graph processing workflows.
- Solid understanding of description logics, ontology design patterns, and entity resolution at scale.
