Senior Node.js Developer

ASPER BROTHERS is seeking a Senior Node.js Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of scalable, sustainable logistics technologies. You will play a key role in building systems that empower users to manage their entire supply chain effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Develop complex quoting and routing algorithms to calculate global shipping costs and process live tracking data from various transport modes.
• Drive automation initiatives to significantly increase process efficiency and reduce manual communication in logistics operations.
• Design and implement scalable, event-driven microservice architectures utilizing advanced patterns such as CQRS and event sourcing.
• Lead engineering-wide initiatives, mentor team members, and document architectural decisions through concise ADRs.
• Continuously improve and refactor critical system components to ensure high performance and maintainability.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on large-scale architectural patterns.
• Strong proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, and message queuing systems or Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of event-driven microservices, well-designed APIs, and efficient algorithm development.
• Commitment to software craftsmanship, including rigorous testing practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
