Senior Node.js Backend Engineer – Cloud and Serverless

ITDS is seeking a Senior Node.js Backend Engineer to join a forward-thinking team dedicated to cloud innovation and the development of scalable, serverless architectures. You will play a pivotal role in building resilient distributed systems that leverage modern cloud infrastructure to drive digital excellence and data-driven insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and maintain robust serverless applications using Node.js, AWS Lambda, SQS, CloudWatch, and S3.
• Design and implement complex data integration workflows, including transformation and validation processes.
• Build and refine REST-like APIs to ensure seamless integration across internal and external systems.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code configurations using Terraform to maintain scalable AWS environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and maintain CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Node.js backend development.
• At least 2 years of experience working with distributed systems architecture and data integration.
• Strong proficiency in AWS serverless services and infrastructure management tools like Terraform.
• Solid understanding of Linux command-line tools, containerization, and CI/CD best practices.
• Fluent English communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
