Senior Node.js Backend Engineer – Cloud and Serverless

ITDS is looking for a Senior Node.js Backend Engineer to join a team focused on cloud innovation and serverless architecture. You will play a key role in building resilient, scalable distributed systems that drive digital excellence for a leader in cloud solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust serverless applications using Node.js, AWS Lambda, SQS, and S3.
• Design and implement complex data integration workflows and REST-like APIs.
• Manage infrastructure-as-code configurations using Terraform for AWS environments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance system performance and reliability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and utilize Linux command-line tools for deployment tasks.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of professional experience in Node.js backend development.
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with distributed systems and data integration.
• Strong proficiency in AWS serverless services and infrastructure management with Terraform.
• Solid understanding of REST API design, GitHub workflows, and CI/CD practices.
• Fluent English communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
• Legal right to work within the European Union.
