Senior Network Engineer

Intive is a global technology company that partners with industry leaders to create pioneering digital experiences across sectors like automotive, healthcare, and finance. We are currently seeking a Senior Network Engineer to join a dedicated team for a 6-month transformation initiative focused on simplifying and securing AWS network environments.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and implement AWS network components including VPCs, subnets, routing, and security groups based on defined architectural standards.
• Support the phased migration of services to the new network structure while ensuring stability and minimal disruption.
• Analyze, refactor, and optimize existing network configurations to reduce complexity and enhance the overall security posture.
• Validate network changes through rigorous connectivity testing, traffic verification, and troubleshooting across various environments.
• Collaborate with DevOps engineers to align network configurations with infrastructure automation and deployment processes.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience in network engineering or a similar infrastructure-focused role.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS networking components and troubleshooting distributed cloud environments.
• Experience working with legacy network setups and supporting complex transformation initiatives.
• Solid understanding of network security principles, access control, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Familiarity with CI/CD environments and container-based or serverless architectures like ECS and Lambda.
