Senior .NET Engineer

Optiveum is seeking a skilled Senior .NET Backend Engineer to join an international team focused on developing and maintaining specialized scientific workflow management systems. You will play a key role in designing robust backend solutions and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET and C#.
• Design and implement reliable data access and persistence solutions using MS SQL.
• Contribute to a secure and maintainable application architecture.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and domain colleagues to translate user needs into effective technical solutions.
• Support engineering quality through testing, code reviews, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Contribute to delivery and deployment practices within the Azure ecosystem.

Requirements

• Strong, hands-on experience with .NET and C#.
• Solid MS SQL skills, including working with relational data models and queries.
• Experience in developing or operating solutions in Microsoft Azure.
• Fluent English for working in an international environment.
