emagine Polska is seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Developer to join a distributed engineering team dedicated to critical banking and investment systems. This role focuses on the modernization and expansion of complex applications, requiring a professional who can thrive in a fast-paced, regulated environment while delivering scalable, high-quality software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and extend .NET-based systems that support multiple banking entities and core platforms.
• Maintain and enhance a portfolio of approximately 17 applications focused on product control and risk management.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to deliver robust, end-to-end solutions without a separate QA team.
• Participate in the scaling and migration of applications toward cloud-based, containerized environments.
• Ensure high code quality through rigorous unit and integration testing practices.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience as a .NET/C# Developer with a strong background in the banking or investment banking sector.
• Full-stack development expertise with a primary focus on backend systems.
• Deep understanding and practical application of SOLID design principles.
• Proficiency in working with document-based databases like MongoDB and event-driven messaging frameworks.
• Ability to work independently and effectively during UK business hours.
