Senior .NET Backend Engineer

OPTIVEUM is seeking a highly skilled Senior .NET Backend Engineer to join an international team focused on developing and maintaining advanced scientific workflow management systems. You will play a key role in designing robust backend services and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using .NET and C#.
• Design and implement reliable data access and persistence solutions utilizing MS SQL.
• Collaborate with product, frontend, and domain experts to translate complex user requirements into effective technical implementations.
• Ensure high engineering standards through rigorous code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of application architecture.
• Contribute to efficient delivery and deployment practices within the Microsoft Azure ecosystem.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience with .NET and C# development.
• Strong proficiency in MS SQL, including relational data modeling and query optimization.
• Proven experience in developing or operating cloud-based solutions within Microsoft Azure.
• Fluent English communication skills, essential for working in an international environment.
