Senior Mysql Administrator

CYCLAD is looking for an experienced Senior MySQL Administrator to join our team. You will be responsible for managing complex database environments, ensuring high availability, and optimizing performance for our global projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain MySQL databases and clustering solutions to ensure high availability.
• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and optimize queries and indexes.
• Manage comprehensive backup and recovery processes, including hot backups and disaster recovery readiness.
• Collaborate with development teams on schema design, application profiling, and query optimization.
• Implement and enforce database security policies and maintain technical documentation.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience as a MySQL Database Administrator.
• Strong knowledge of MySQL architecture, replication, and advanced clustering solutions.
• Proven experience in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
• Hands-on experience with AWS RDS Aurora and cloud-based database management.
• Ability to work independently in critical production environments.
