Senior ML/Python Engineer

Devopsbay is a team of MLOps, DevOps, and AI specialists dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions for fast-growing companies. We are currently seeking a Senior ML/Python Engineer to join a project focused on transforming the insurance industry through advanced AI-powered tools and digital automation.

Key responsibilities

• Build LLM-powered applications using retrieval-augmented generation, prompt engineering, and context management.
• Develop and maintain a chatbot capable of learning from user interactions to provide domain-specific support.
• Design and implement robust data integrations, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data-access layers for structured and unstructured data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and iterate quickly in a startup-style environment.
• Work with a modern technology stack including TypeScript, Snowflake, AWS, and Agentic AI frameworks.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and experience building production-grade LLM applications.
• Solid understanding of data engineering principles and experience with cloud-based data platforms like AWS and Snowflake.
• Ability to take ownership of ambiguous tasks and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Fluency in English and availability for meetings within the PT timezone.
