Senior ML/AI Engineer

Svitla Systems is seeking a Senior ML/AI Engineer to join a team focused on cutting-edge AI innovation and acceleration. You will work on computer vision and generative AI solutions, collaborating with researchers to optimize and deploy models for real-world applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, train, evaluate, and deploy advanced machine learning models.
• Build and optimize retrieval-augmented generation workflows and fine-tune large language models.
• Manage and manipulate complex datasets using Python libraries like Pandas and NumPy.
• Collaborate within a remote team environment using Git and GitHub for version control.
• Utilize tools such as Hydra for configuration and Weights & Biases for experiment tracking.

Requirements

• Strong proficiency in Python and a solid background in machine learning and AI.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, including fine-tuning, RAG, and prompt engineering.
• Expertise in classification and retrieval tasks, including familiarity with Faiss.
• Solid understanding of NLP concepts and data management practices.
• Proven ability to work effectively with shared codebases and remote servers.
