Creotech Instruments S.A. is seeking a Senior Mission Analysis Engineer to join our space engineering team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our space missions by contributing to early-phase design and complex orbital analysis.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mission analysis, including lifetime, coverage, revisit time, and performance assessments.
- Develop orbital maneuver plans and optimize trajectories for various mission profiles.
- Lead early-phase mission design, concept development, and feasibility studies.
- Perform system-level trade-off studies to support critical design decisions.
- Collaborate closely with system engineers and domain experts across AOCS, mechanical, thermal, and electronics disciplines.
- Develop and improve internal mission analysis tools using Python.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in the field of Mission Analysis.
- Strong initiative with a hands-on, problem-solving mindset and broad engineering curiosity.
- Solid understanding of orbital mechanics and systems engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- Experience with tools such as STK, GMAT, or FreeFlyer is highly valued.
- Familiarity with astrodynamics libraries like Orekit, Astropy, or Poliastro.
