Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer (z/OS / CICS / MQ / IMS)

BRAVER IT is a dynamic venture building firm that creates profitable technology companies from scratch. We are currently looking for a Senior Mainframe Systems Programmer to join our team and contribute to long-term international projects while working in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain complex IBM z/OS environments.
• Provide expert support for CICS, MQ, and IMS infrastructure components.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and perform system tuning to ensure optimal performance.
• Execute system upgrades and maintenance tasks to improve overall platform stability and availability.
• Collaborate effectively with global infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality technical solutions.

Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in Mainframe infrastructure.
• Strong technical knowledge of IBM z/OS operating systems.
• Proven experience with at least one of the following: CICS, MQ, or IMS.
• Solid background as a Systems Programmer with the ability to work independently.
• Proficiency in English, enabling seamless daily communication in an international setting.
