Senior Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer

BRAVER IT is a dynamic venture building company that creates profitable technology solutions from scratch. We are currently looking for a Senior Mainframe Infrastructure Engineer to join our team and support critical enterprise systems for our leading Nordic clients in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and manage complex enterprise IBM Mainframe infrastructure.
• Provide expert support for the z/OS platform and core middleware components.
• Execute installations, system upgrades, and routine maintenance tasks.
• Ensure platform stability, high availability, and optimal performance.
• Troubleshoot production issues and collaborate effectively with global infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience working with IBM Mainframe environments.
• Strong technical knowledge of z/OS operating systems.
• Proven expertise in at least one of the following areas: DB2, IMS, CICS, MQ, Storage, Automation, Batch, or Performance & Capacity management.
• Excellent English communication skills to facilitate international collaboration.
