DeepHealth is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our R&D team, where you will play a pivotal role in developing and refining clinical AI products. This hands-on position involves the full lifecycle of machine learning, from initial data experimentation and model architecture design to production deployment and performance optimization in a clinical setting.
Key responsibilities
- Improve existing production models through systematic error analysis, targeted experiments, and iterative architecture refinements.
- Develop models for new products, guiding them from initial formulation and feasibility studies through to final production integration.
- Collaborate with clinicians and product teams to define robust evaluation criteria, ensuring clinical relevance and high performance.
- Build reproducible training and evaluation pipelines, ensuring traceable datasets and consistent model versioning.
- Partner with software engineers to optimize inference speed, resource utilization, and overall operational reliability.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in developing and delivering machine learning models to production.
- Strong foundations in deep learning and computer vision, with practical experience in classification, detection, or segmentation.
- Proficiency in Python and modern deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Proven ability to work autonomously, design rigorous experiments, and communicate complex technical trade-offs effectively.
