Senior Machine Learning Engineer (Databricks)

Entrada AI is a specialized consulting partner and a strategic portfolio company of Databricks Ventures, recognized for deploying advanced AI solutions at enterprise scale. We are looking for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team of industry veterans, where you will have direct access to Databricks product roadmaps and work on complex architectural challenges for Fortune 500 clients.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning models and algorithms within the Databricks ecosystem, covering areas like predictive analytics and NLP.
• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle, from initial data preprocessing to model deployment and production monitoring.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Optimize and fine-tune models to ensure high performance, accuracy, and scalability in production environments.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the development of robust machine learning infrastructure and MLOps frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in machine learning engineering or a closely related domain.
• At least 3 years of hands-on experience working with the Databricks platform.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or Java, combined with deep knowledge of frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
• Strong experience with MLOps tools, specifically MLflow, for managing model deployment and monitoring.
