Senior Machine Learning Engineer · AI / Computer Vision

Surveily is a start-up dedicated to transforming workplace health and safety standards globally through advanced technology. We are seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to lead the development of production-grade computer vision solutions that address real-world challenges in demanding environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of production-ready computer vision solutions.
• Own complex ML projects from problem definition through production deployment and long-term maintenance.
• Drive the complete ML lifecycle, including data strategy, model development, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
• Design and build reusable Python libraries, ML frameworks, and internal tooling to improve engineering efficiency.
• Mentor other engineers through technical guidance, code reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• 5+ years of commercial experience building and deploying machine learning systems.
• Strong understanding of machine learning fundamentals, including supervised learning, optimization, and statistics.
• Excellent Python software engineering skills with a focus on clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Extensive experience developing deep learning models using PyTorch.
• Proven ability to independently lead technical initiatives from concept to production.
