Senior Legal Engineer

Dentons Business Services EMEA serves as the operational backbone for the world's largest law firm, supporting legal professionals across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. As a Senior Legal Engineer, you will join the Legal Tech Enablement team to design and implement innovative technology solutions that enhance service delivery, automate complex workflows, and drive efficiency across the firm's international network.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of legal engineering projects, including document assembly, automation, and custom application development.
• Analyze legal workflows in collaboration with practice groups to design and implement optimized technology solutions.
• Configure and build solutions using low-code/no-code platforms while preparing technical specifications and documentation.
• Act as a primary point of contact for technology vendors and manage the full implementation lifecycle.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the strategic development of the firm's legal technology roadmap.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in legal technology, legal operations, or software development.
• Proven hands-on experience with workflow automation, document automation, or legal AI platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex legal requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage stakeholder relationships and drive change management initiatives.
