Senior Legal Counsel - Core

Remote is a global HR-tech company dedicated to simplifying international employment. We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to join our Core Legal Team, helping us provide strategic, scalable legal support that drives business growth while navigating complex global regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with internal stakeholders across Sales, Customer Experience, and Operations to provide pragmatic legal advice.
• Develop and enhance template contracts, playbooks, and standard operating procedures, with a focus on our Employer of Record (EOR) product.
• Conduct in-depth legal research on new products and global laws to identify risks and opportunities.
• Mentor and train junior legal team members while fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented environment.
• Manage relationships with local counsel and lead litigation or collection matters when necessary.

Requirements

• Qualified lawyer with extensive experience in legal practice, preferably in labor and employment law.
• Proven ability to work autonomously and lead complex legal projects in a tech-scaleup environment.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to distill complex issues into clear, concise language.
• Creative legal thinker capable of providing innovative, out-of-the-box solutions.
• Experience in mentoring and guiding junior legal professionals.
