Senior Leader Kotlin Engineer

We are currently seeking a Senior Leader Kotlin Engineer to join our team and support a major fintech client specializing in flexible payment solutions, focusing on platform modernization and high-availability architecture.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop a robust and extensible Kotlin framework and platform.
• Lead engineers through ambiguity to deliver quarterly goals while ensuring team support.
• Collaborate across the product development lifecycle to participate in ideation and articulate technical constraints.
• Drive decision-making and risk assessment by partnering on strategic technical choices.
• Mentor engineering talent by providing actionable feedback and leading by example to grow team capabilities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of proficiency in Kotlin with extensive experience developing backend systems at scale.
• Deep experience with distributed systems and high-availability architectures.
• Strong infrastructure knowledge, including AWS, MySQL/DynamoDB, and Kubernetes.
• Proven ability to deliver significant features using elegant, simple, and extensible designs.
• Excellent collaboration skills for effective partnership with global, cross-functional engineering teams.
