Senior Java Engineer (Trading Systems)

VISTULO is looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join a core team building high-performance trading systems for a top North American bank. This is a unique opportunity to work on ultra-low-latency architectures and algorithmic order management systems in a fully remote environment for residents of Poland.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust software solutions for equities and FX trading systems using core Java.
• Build high-performance backend services that algorithmically manage and route orders.
• Create thorough test cases to ensure software stability and reliability.
• Collaborate with operations teams regarding building new features and improving existing functionality.

Requirements

• Current Java programming experience with a strong understanding of multi-threading, algorithms, and performance tuning.
• Proven experience building backend services for front-office trading systems.
• Deep understanding of front-office workflows and electronic trading platforms.
• Expertise in building algorithmic order management or order routing systems.
• Ability to align work with a 6-hour overlap with US Eastern business hours.
